"As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."  (Gal. 6:10)
Missions
Although the congregation at Rocky Mount is small and financially restricted, the congregation has always given of their means to support the mission of reaching the lost.  In many cases the congregation has been unable to assist missions but individual members have given of their means.  The congregation, or our members have contributed directly to mission efforts in India and China, supported orphans and provided assistance in the aftermath of natural disasters. Most recently we have financially supported our Glen Willcut and his wife in their ongoing mission efforts in Guyana, South America and have assisted Brother Samuel Singh, who ministers in Georgetown Guyana.

Glen and Mariann Willcut began full time mission work in Guyana in 1990.  After several years of full time service there, and helping to establish qualified preachers, they returned to the U.S. and return annually to provide additional missionary outreach. Glen and Mariann make this journey, and provide for needs on the mission, through donations and through use of their own personal finances.

How you can help!

If spreading the Gospel is important to you, and you can help financially, please know that donations to offset the travel and mission expenses are always appreciated.  Large and small amounts are helpful in this work.

You may directly mail a donation to the Church and we will forward it to Glen.  Please write checks to, "Rocky Mount Church of Christ and mark the memo, "Guyana Mission."  If sending cash, mark "Guyana Mission" on the envelope or in a note.

Please be sure to include your address for a special thank you and for updates on the work in Guyana from Glen. You may wish to correspond directly with Glen in Florida by e-mailing him at gwillcut@yahoo.com.
